Pediatric Social Stories

for healthcare organizations

About Us

We provide pediatric organizations with easily accessible, customizable books that equip children with the expectations and skills they need to successfully participate in specific medical tests and procedures.

Our books are written, reviewed, and field-tested by Child Life Specialists and parentswho have walked their children through similar circumstances.

Easy Access

Parents and caregivers do not always have access to the resources needed to best prepare their child for a test or procedure. When materials are available, parents do not always know they exist or how to find them.

Our books are given to providers as handouts, to Child Life Specialists as learning tools, and displayed in waiting rooms for hands-on access.

In-Office Handout

Doctors, nurses, technicians, and staff have materials available to handout as topics arise.

Child Life Specialist

Child Life Specialists have books available to aid in their discussion with children and their families.

Waiting Room Materials

Books can be made available to pick up in waiting rooms (e.g. Imaging Departments and ERs).
